Starting Conversations Online
We can build more than just properties; let’s create communities through sound investment, careful management, and informed development.
As an independent consultant and investor, I’ve brought my law and MBA degrees from the University of Chicago and my legal experience as a corporate associate to real estate investment, management, and development. Working with my independent consulting and investing firm, Stephen C. Troy, Inc., and as the U.S. affiliate of Destination-C Group, an international real estate development company, I develop, manage, and sell high profile resort, residential, and recreational properties in the tri-state area.
With this blog, I hope to continue a conversation about real estate development feasability and sustainability.
At the NYU Real Estate Institute, I have taught courses on the feasibility and sustainability of real estate development, investment projects, and real estate law for non lawyers. My trend research and advice in the fields of law, finance, and real estate development has been quoted in national publications, most recently on CNN.com.
Beyond developing properties, I work to help build a better society through philanthropy, including my service on the Advisory Board for City Harvest.
Join me in creating ethical and profitable communities, both online and in our home towns.
